FOR ATHLETES
Dr. G developed his Game Ready Protocol over the course of treating athletes since 2010. It mainly consists of manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, IASTM, scraping, trigger point therapy, exercises and stretches, as well as nutritional and supplement counseling. The protocol's order and timing are tailored to the individual.

Yes. The initial evaluation will determine if we're able to treat your injuries. If not, we will refer you to another physician who can help, such as an orthopedist or neurologist.
After about two weeks of treatment, a re-evaluation will be performed, and if you are not progressing as expected, we will refer you to another physician who can help.
Treatment plans can vary greatly, depending on the injury or condition, but generally each session is around 20 minutes. The number of sessions you require depends on you and your individual progress. Sometimes one or two sessions is all you need.

Yes. For athletic injuries, we treat high schoolers and older. A parent or guardian must accompany minors if they have not reached their 18th birthday at the time of the appointment.
When an injury keeps returning, it’s often because the underlying cause wasn’t fully addressed, such as joint restriction, movement compensation, or muscular imbalance.
If that root issue remains, the same tissues can keep getting overloaded during training or activity, making re-injury more likely. A full assessment and a plan that corrects mechanics, not just symptoms, is the best way to break the cycle.
Acute injuries happen suddenly, such as after a fall, twist, or collision , and you can usually pinpoint the exact moment they occurred.
Overuse injuries develop gradually when the same body part is stressed repeatedly without enough recovery time, leading to increasing soreness, stiffness, or reduced performance.
Look for a chiropractor who has experience and training working with athletes and soft tissue injuries. The main focus should be on sports rehab, not just quick pain relief. They should assess the full kinetic chain (how your feet, hips, spine, and shoulders work together), review your training history, and give you a clear treatment and exercise plan.
Get same-day medical care if you suspect a fracture, have significant swelling or deformity, can’t bear weight, or you notice numbness, tingling, or weakness.
Once a serious injury is ruled out, a sports chiropractor can play a helpful role in recovery by restoring motion, reducing pain, and supporting a safe return to sport.
